Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Belarus, Djauhari Oratmangun states, although economic growth in Russia is currently the world number six position, but plagued with the sanction.
"It is not independent of the political situation of the country which makes the Russian economy is experiencing a severe challenge," said Djauhari in IDX Building, Jakarta, Friday (25/7/2
According to him, the challenges faced are joining the Crimea region that led to the sanctions imposed by the European Union (EU) and United States (USA).
"The geopolitical situation in particular joining of Crimea to Russia. Which led to the provision of a witness by the EU and the United States including Visa and Mastercard blocking," he said.
Further he said that economic stability in Russia was a little shaken when a revolt carried out by a number of Ukrainian citizens. Not only that, the Russian economy was challenged after the crash-owned Malaysia Airlines MH17 which impact on Russia's image in the eyes of internasinal.
In fact, according to Djauhari, Russia is building confidence for economic growth. One of them with a tap diversification through investment and is not dependent on energy.
"But the political situation, the Russian security impact on the climate tends to stagnate, a businessman tends to wait for developments in the market," he concluded
