Ameriza said, despite ever-increasing demand from India, but has not been able to match a previous request from China. He continued, declining demand from China that is the cause of sluggish price of coal from East Kalimantan.
"This will be compounded by the coal export policy to be issued by China. Because China reportedly will issue a policy to utilize their coal reserves. That is, China will reduce their dependence on imported coal, including from East Kalimantan, "he said.
Ameriza hope, East Kalimantan coal will be helped by increasing demand ASEAB India and a number of countries that are developing coal-fired energy sources.
"In India, demand next year is believed to increase as the new prime minister amid spirit of building a country with coal energy sufficiency.
